Every seller wants their home to sell fast and for top dollar – but it takes more than luck to make this happen. Here are my THREE tips to prepare your home for sale.

First, disassociate yourself from your house. Chances are you’ve lived here for several years and have made many memories within its walls. Houses naturally become emotional attachments. However, you must remember that your home is about the people who live there, not necessarily the building itself.

Second, depersonalize. This means removing photographs, memorabilia, and other personal items that could potentially distract buyers who visit your listing. Your goal is to present a clean and impersonal environment that allows visitors to visualize how your home might look with their own touch.

Third, deep clean. Our goal is to “wow” prospective buyers as they walk through the front door. So make sure to declutter and thoroughly clean every single room from top to bottom.
